Samstag, 14.01.2012, Hafenklang: Die Wartezeit hat ein Ende: Im neuen Jahr begrüßt das Massaya Soundsystem seine Gäste wieder im Hafenklang. Nachdem sich bereits mit den ersten Parties 2011 gezeigt hat, wie gut “Destination:Kingston” ins Hafenklang passt, macht Massaya da weiter, wo sie im Oktober aufgehört haben: mit karibischen Rythmen, herzzerreissendem Gesang und einer Bassmassage, die Körper, Seele und Geist bewegt. Gegen den Winter hilft nämlich nur eins: sich bewegen – und Massaya wird wieder die Räumlichkeiten des Hafenklangs zum Kochen bringen, so dass niemand still sitzt. Geboten wird wie immer das Beste aus über 50 Jahren Musikgeschichte der kleinen Karibikinsel Jamaica. Von Ska und Reggae bis zu den neuesten Dancehall Produktionen reicht das Spektrum, gewürzt mit einer prise HipHop und Soca – Satisfaction Guaranteed!

Zudem kündigt sich ein Special Guest an, der dem “Destination:Kingston” Publikum bestens vertraut sein dürfte – man darf gespannt sein, wer die Massaya-Selection dieses Mal bereichern wird. Und wer nach einer durchtanzten Clubnacht etwas Stärkung braucht, kann sich auf dem Fischmarkt noch ein Krabbenbrötchen für den Heimweg mitnehmen.
